Sandrine & Marc-Olivier – A Wedding at Sheraton Dorval
Today we feature this fun wedding from the Sheraton Dorval with photography by Gasoline Photography.
Sandrine, the bride, originally comes from Tahiti and came to Montreal 7 years ago to study. She then met Marc-Olivier and found a great reason to stay!
Her family and best friend (her bridesmaid) traveled all the way from Tahiti and France to see her tie the knot to Marc-Olivier. Her family brought black pearls from Tahiti – the bride wore them as earrings and the groom as cuff links.
Marco’s older brother officiated the wedding and made an hilarious speech comparing Sandrine & Marco’s story to Spiderman & Mary Jane’s story, even alluding to the Green Goblin (the Diable Vert club in Montreal is where they met).
Marco’s younger brother’s jazz band played during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Their friends pieced together an absolutely gorgeous backdrop with their names where people could take photos together.
During the cocktail hour, as people sipped their drinks, enjoyed themselves and listened to the band, the couple and their photographer drove to the Millenium Park in Dorval for the couple’s photos, as well as a few with the bridal party.
Thanks a lot to Stefanie at Gasoline Photography for sending over these photos, and to Sandrine & Marc-Olivier for allowing us to share their story.
