What better way to start than with this fantastic image from Montreal wedding photographer, Tim Chin. When all is said and done, weddings are all about people and relationships between the bride, groom and the most important people in their lives.
We asked Tim to tell us more about his photo…
“I’ve been drawn to images of grandmothers recently, having lost mine just over a month ago now. My kids are so blessed, not only to have 3 of their grandparents around, but ready and willing to love them unconditionally at a moments notice. I honestly couldn’t do what I do without their help.
The support and pride that a grandparent feels is as much a part of the celebration as the union the newlyweds share. It is of a job well done, a rite of passage and a love fully experienced.
This image is a couple years old but Dave’s grandmother is probably one of the sweetest, most affectionate old ladies I’ve ever photographed.”
